Life At Sea Lecture Series: Radio Central - Communicating during WWII

Dr. Tim Morgan will discuss how the USS ALABAMA's communication system was used and how critical Radio Central was to the operation of the ship during WWII. After the presentation, visitors can take a privately guided tour of Radio Central. Tim is a member of the Deep South Amateur Radio Club and one of the driving forces behind the restoration of Radio Central. He is a retired history professor. Lecture will take place in the Wardroom and is free to attend. Included in day's admission.
