    Available Positions:


    1. Receptionist

    Location: Coastal Pediatrics, Summerdale, Alabama
    Type: Full-Time

    Job Description:
    As the first point of contact for our patients, the Receptionist will play a key role in ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient experience. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a friendly, professional demeanor. This position requires strong multitasking and customer service skills.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Schedule appointments and manage patient flow.
    • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and manage patient information.
    • Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information.
    • Assist with office administration tasks as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Bilingual is REQUIRED.
    • Previous experience in a medical office or customer service environment preferred.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems a plus.

    2. Medical Assistant

    Location: Coastal Pediatrics, Summerdale, Alabama
    Type: Full-Time

    Job Description:
    The Medical Assistant will work directly with our healthcare team to provide essential support in patient care. The role involves both clinical and administrative duties to ensure smooth operations of the practice. Ideal candidates should have strong clinical skills and a passion for patient care.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare patients for examination by taking medical histories and vital signs.
    • Assist in performing diagnostic tests and medical procedures.
    • Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
    • Prepare and maintain examination rooms, sterilize equipment.
    • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
    • Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable.
    • Ability to perform medical office tasks and assist with minor procedures.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain).
    • Bilingual is a plus!

    3. Registered Nurse (RN)

    Location: Coastal Pediatrics, Summerdale, Alabama
    Type: Full-Time 

    Job Description:
    As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patient health needs, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop care plans. We are seeking an experienced, compassionate RN who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess and monitor patients’ conditions and vital signs.
    • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
    • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers.
    • Document patient progress in electronic health records.

    Qualifications:

    • Current, active RN license.
    • Previous nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
    • BLS and ACLS certification required.
