Eco Clean Marine Hosts ''Keep Okaloosa Beautiful'' Halloween Trash Pickup at Okaloosa Boardwalk

Fort Walton Beach, FL – November 06, 2024 – Eco Clean Marine wrapped up an action-packed Halloween weekend with a spooktacular community effort to clean up the Okaloosa Boardwalk in Fort Walton Beach! Over 30 volunteers joined forces on October 26 for the "Keep Okaloosa Beautiful" Halloween Trash Pickup, making a monstrous impact on the local environment.

With a vibe that was as festive as it was productive, 31 volunteers showed up in full force, rolling up their sleeves for a two-hour trash pick-up event. Together, they filled 35 5-gallon buckets with debris, from plastic bottles to rogue candy wrappers (Halloween treats, not tricks!).

Not only did they clear the boardwalk, but they also cleared the way for a cleaner, more sustainable environment for our marine life. With Eco Clean Marine leading the charge, this event was all about fun, teamwork, and making a real difference in keeping Okaloosa County beautiful.

The volunteer turnout was a real treat, with people of all ages participating and some even getting into the Halloween spirit with costumes. From spooky witches to creepy crawlers, the event had a fun and festive atmosphere as everyone worked hard to collect trash and ensure a cleaner future for the waters that surround Okaloosa County.
