The South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed the South Baldwin Republican Women (SBRW) with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held at their newly established election headquarters located at 2700 S McKenzie Street in Foley, Alabama.

The South Baldwin Republican Women is a group of "politically active, community-minded women who believe in the principles, objectives, and policies of the Republican Party." With the 2024 Presidential election on the horizon, the SBRW headquarters will serve as a hub for community engagement, election information, and Republican activism in Baldwin County.

Their election headquarters offers the public access to voter registration forms, absentee ballot request forms, and general election sample ballots. Additionally, the headquarters features a variety of merchandise, including hats, t-shirts, yard signs, flags, and more, available for purchase. Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, closed on Sunday, now through October 31, 2024. 

“Our goal is to ensure that members understand the issues and candidates' positions, empowering them to make informed decisions at election time,” stated Ruthie Campbell, President of South Baldwin Republican Women. “We work diligently to keep our members informed on local, state, and national issues through our monthly meetings, newsletters, and online platforms.”

The South Baldwin Republican Women gather monthly at the Gift Horse Restaurant in Foley for an engaging afternoon of networking, lunch, and distinguished guest speakers. Additionally, the South Baldwin Republican Women will host their 3rd Annual Charity Golf Tournament on October 24, 2024, at Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club.
