FOLEY – Foley residents and visitors will have a chance to stroll through more than a century of local history in April when Foley conducts walking tours of the downtown historic district. Foley is one of more than 20 Alabama communities conducting the tours on each Saturday of the month throughout April. In Foley, the free tours will highlight historic areas of the city that date back to the beginning of the 20th Century. The tours will begin at the Foley Welcome Center at the intersection of Alabama

FOLEY – Foley’s municipal airport was on display for the public on Saturday, March 22, as residents had a chance to take part in an open house showing off the facility. About 100 people took part in the open house Saturday morning. Participants asked questions about airport activities and operations. FOLEY, AL – Foley voters will return to the Civic Center for the 2025 municipal elections after polling stations were moved in 2020. Municipal elections in Foley and most of Alabama will be held on Aug. 26, 2025. If a runoff election is needed for any office, that election will be held Sept. 23, 2025. The Foley City Council voted Monday, March 17, to approve a first reading on an ordinance to establish the polling place for the 2025 city elections. FOLEY – Foley recycling trucks with a new design will soon roll through city streets as efforts continue to encourage residents to keep materials out of landfills. The new design includes the slogan “SImple Act Big Impact,” on a blue background and a triangle of white arrows. The design was selected from several created by the city. May 24th, 2023 | City of Foley News FOLEY – A 97-year-old building that survived proposals to tear it down is now the office of the South Baldwin Chamber of Commerce after being donated to the organization by the city of Foley. The chamber held an open house Monday, May 22 to display the renovations made to the 5,600 square-foot building.
